About This Role

<p style="margin: 0;">Performs mechanical repairs and maintenance on specialty equipment such as High Voltage Electric Vehicle (EV), Hybrid/Electric, Fire apparatus and emergency equipment (Emergency Vehicle Technician EVT). Performs field service calls, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, coordinates work activities, and repairs hydraulic/air/EV components.&nbsp;</p><br><span style="font-style: normal;"><strong>Environmental Factors</strong></span><p style="margin: 0 0 12.0pt;text-align: justify;">Work is performed in a warehouse, maintenance facility or out in the field. Exposure to hazards including but not limited to all types of fumes/liquids/chemicals, trash, used syringes, electrical shocks, sharp objects and all types of weather conditions.</p><p style="margin: 0 0 12.0pt;text-align: justify;"><strong>Physical Factors</strong><br>Heavy physical demands. Requirements

<p style="margin: 0;text-align: justify;">Associate&nbsp;degree/Automotive/Diesel Trade School; AND three (3) years of automotive/heavy-light or 6 years in a pro shop.<span style="color: inherit;">&nbsp;working on heavy equipment, with certificates for up-to-date technical classes attended.</span> Mechanical experience with experience maintaining specialty equipment such as EV, and emergency and safety vehicles and components.
