Police Crime Analyst

About this role

<p style="text-align: justify;">Performs professional, administrative and technical work to analyze and evaluate data to support Danville Police Department operations. Manages data and completes a wide variety of internal and external reports. Responds to requests for data analysis and information initiating from department command staff.</p>

Requirements

<strong>Education and Experience </strong><br>Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Information Technology, Database Management, GIS ore related field and three to five years’ related experience.<br> <br>An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the specific requirements listed above<br> <br><strong>Certifications/</strong><strong>Licenses</strong> <br><ul><li>Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record according to City criteria.</li></ul><br><strong>Job Knowledge </strong><br>Advanced knowledge of the subject matter.
