About This Role

The purpose of this position is to have available on a 24 hour basis a person specifically trained to respond to emergency situations involving fire, medical emergencies, hazardous materials or special rescues, and to provide support for fire prevention efforts. Requirements

<ul><li>High school diploma or GED plus specialized training and/or additional college courses and 12-18 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>Must possess a valid Driver’s License. </li><li>Have or be able to obtain Firefighter I & II Standards Certificate, Arkansas EMT Certificate, Hazardous Material Operations Level, CPR, obtain NIMS ICS 100 and 700 certification.</li><li>Regular use of highly complex machines and fire equipment; specialized life sustaining equipment.</li><li>Ability to utilize both internal and external resources to obtain information and data necessary to carry out routine assignments and special projects. </li><li>Must have ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with man
