<p data-pasted="true">The Clark County Fire Department is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the position of EMS Training Instructor. This position will be responsible for preparing, delivering, and evaluating public safety, supervisory and other training courses and classes which pertain to Emergency Medical Services, fire service, management, and supervision.</p><p>This examination will establish an Open Competitive and Promotional list to fill current and/or future vacancies that may occur within the next six (6) months or may be extended as needed by the Office of Human Resources.</p><p style="margin-top:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;margin-left:0in;" data-pasted="true">Human Resources reserves the right to call only the most qualified applicants to <span style="color:inherit;">the selection process.</span></p><p>Candidates selected for interview shall be required to create and deliver a timed presentation using audiovisual equipment and devices, as well as participate in an oral interview.</p><p>Individuals interested in this position must submit an on-line application and required attachments to Human Resources <strong>NO LATER THAN THE POSTED CLOSING
Requirements
<ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt"><li>Prepares, designs and delivers specialized training programs in the areas of emergency medical services and operations.</li><li>Assists in the scheduling of training classes/sessions.</li><li>Coordinates EMS training activities with other instructors and fire department personnel.</li><li>Obtains necessary equipment, space and other resources necessary to conduct effective training.</li><li>Produces necessary instructional aids and documentation.</li><li>Reviews and adapts prepared instructional materials.</li><li>Develops instructional materials for specific topics.</li><li>Develops student evaluation instruments to support instruction and the evaluation of test results.</li><li>Addresses needs based on QA/QI reviews and develops education to improve EMS
