About this role
<strong>Assist in ensuring the public safety of the Albuquerque International Sunport by monitoring the airport security systems; operate a multi-line, multi function touch screen telephone system; respond to notifications of aircraft incidents/accidents, security incidents, criminal activities and mechanical/janitorial problems and dispatch to appropriate police, operations or maintenance personnel.<br><br>This is a safety sensitive position subject to random drug/alcohol testing.</strong><br><br><em>Job descriptions are intended to present a general list of tasks/duties performed by employees within this job classification. Requirements
<em><strong>Education and experience directly related to the minimum requirements below may be interchangeable on a year for year basis. </strong></em><br><br>High school diploma or GED supplemented by thirty (30) credit hours of college level course work in general studies; <em><strong>and </strong></em> <br><br>Three (3) years of experience in any of the following areas:<ul><li>radio operations</li><li>computer operations</li><li>switchboard operations</li><li>data entry </li></ul>One (1) year of processing public service calls is preferred.<br><br><br><strong>ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: </strong><br><br>Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License, or the ability to obtain by date of hire.<br><br>Possession of a valid City Operator's Permit (COP) within
