911 Emergency Dispatcher - EXAM

About this role

<p style="margin: 0 0 0.0001pt">Under general supervision, is responsible for dispatching police, fire, and emergency medical services; performs related duties as required.</p>

Requirements

<p style="margin: 0 0 0.0001pt;">Completion of the twelfth school grade and one (1) year of experience responding to 911 emergency calls, <u>OR</u> two (2) years of experience involving customer service, public contact, typing or data entry, field/crew dispatching, or general clerical work. &nbsp;Substitution(s): &nbsp;A certificate of high school equivalence (GED) will be accepted in lieu of a high school diploma.</p><p style="margin: 0 0 0.0001pt;"><br></p><p style="margin: 0 0 0.0001pt;">Some positions may require possession of valid Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) certification prior to the completion of the probationary period.</p><br><div tabindex="0" style="color: inherit; margin-bottom: 0px; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; transition: all;" data-pasted="tr
