Requirements
<strong><u>Education and Experience:</u></strong><br><strong>Police Officer I</strong>:<ul><li>A high school diploma, or the equivalent.</ul><strong>Police Officer II:</strong><ul><li>A high school diploma, or the equivalent<li>Requires completion of the one year probationary period as a Police Officer I for the City of Oxnard.</ul><strong><u>License:</u></strong><br><span style="font-weight: normal;font-style: normal;">Depending on assignment, some positions may require:</span> <ul><li>Possession of a valid unrestricted class C California driver's license.</ul><strong><u>Certification and Other Requirements:</u></strong><br><ul><li>Possession of a Basic Certificate issued by the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST).<li>Bilingual Spanish/English speakin
