Security Bailiff

About this role

This is for the position of Security/Bailiff for the Clark County Municipal Court. This position reports to the Chief Bailiff and Sergeant and assists in carrying out the duties and assignments of the department.

Requirements

<ol><li>Ability to successfully deal with the public, whether plaintiff, defendant, witness, victim, officer, attorney or public in general.</li><li>Ability to resolve controversies without injustice to those involved.</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Successfully completed the Ohio Peace Officer Basic Training Program.</li><li>Possess sufficient report writing skills to document courthouse activities.</li><li>Must be bondable due to the nature of the position.</li><li>Must possess and maintain a valid Ohio driver’s license and meet and maintain insurability under the City’s insurance plan.</li></ol>
