<p data-pasted="true"><strong><u>1 Position Available</u></strong></p><p><strong>Summary:&nbsp;</strong>The City of Billings, Parks Department seeks a Seasonal Forestry Technician. &nbsp; The purpose of this position is to assist with tree care and maintenance in Billings City Parks.</p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Must be 18 years of age, have a valid driver’s license and good driving record. Past employment experience in a related field (tree maintenance, landscaping, weed control, etc.) is preferred.</p><p><strong>Employment Period:</strong> 2026 summer season (typically April to October)</p><p><strong>Pay Rate:</strong>&nbsp;$19.00/hour</p><p><strong>Work Schedule:</strong> Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.</p><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>Assist the City Arborist, primarily by serving as a “groundsman,” ensuring a safe working environment for bucket truck work, chipping cut branches and raking to clean up debris from the work area. &nbsp;Tree maintenance work will include planting, staking, watering, mulching, stump grinding, updating tree inventories and pruning. &nbsp;This position will occasionally be asked to assist
