About This Role
<p style="margin: 0; text-align: justify"><strong>POSITION SUMMARY</strong></p><p style="margin: 0; text-align: justify">Responsible for patrolling state, federal and county roads and insures the protection of life and property of county residents through the enforcement of state laws and county ordinances.</p>
Requirements
<strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong><br><ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt"><li><strong>Education/Training/ Experience: </strong>High School Diploma or G.E.D.; U.S. citizen; 21 years of age</li><li><strong>Experience Substitution:</strong> N/A</li><li><strong>Licenses/Certification:</strong> Valid N.M. driver’s license with a good driving record. Must be a New Mexico State certified Peace Officer or become certified within one (1) year.</li><li><strong>Desirable Qualifications: </strong>Two (2) years’ experience in law enforcement field or related applicable experience. Skilled in the use of firearms, restraining equipment, legal rights of prisoners and laws of arrest, search and seizure and evidence. Current CPR and First Aid certifications.</li><li><strong>Other:</strong> No prior D.W.I. arrest or
