About this role
<div style="text-align: justify;">The Cadet Program is designed to introduce recent high school graduates (ages 18 to 24) to a law enforcement career and to prepare them for entry into the Police Academy. Under direct supervision, perform a wide variety of police support duties and clerical assistance for the Fontana Police Department; establish, grow, and preserve positive relationships between the community and the Police Department.</div>
Requirements
<div style="text-align: justify;">Successful candidates will have some basic knowledge of modern office procedures, methods and computer equipment and effective public communication techniques. The employee must have the ability to:</div><ul><li><div style="text-align: justify;">Analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions, and implement recommendations in support of goals, all while being free from any bias against race or ethnicity, gender, nationality, religion, disability, sexual orientation, etc.</div></li><li><div style="text-align: justify;">Analyze situations quickly and objectively and determine proper course of action.</div></li><li><div style="text-align: justify;">Gather, assemble, analyze, evaluate, and use facts and evidence.</div
