About this role
Conditions of Employment Continued: Must wear a uniform and meet applicable dress and appearance standards as identified in current AFI. Must work an uncommon tour of duty, to include nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, rotating shifts, and recall. Must wear approved protective clothing such as body armor/ballistic plates, helmets, personal protective equipment, coats, boots, traffic vests and/or chemical protective equipment, (e.g. respirator mask). Incumbent must be able to operate Security Forces Vehicles and installed equipment. An appropriate, valid driver's license is required for the position. Subject to duty position evaluation on a pass/fail standard in accordance with AFI 36-2646. Must pass formal law enforcement training school as determined by HAF/A4S and receive DoD Peace Officer Standardization and Training Certification. Incumbent will be exposed to the day-to-day dangers associated with law enforcement and security duties.
