<strong style="color: inherit;font-style: normal;text-indent: 0.0px;" data-pasted="true"><u>IMMEDIATE VACANCIES:</u>&nbsp;</strong><br>Lahaina, Kihei, Lanai, and Molokai&nbsp;<br><br>Performs a variety of clerical, para-professional and other service tasks in support of Police Department activities including the processing of prisoners; and performs other related duties as required.<br><br>Distinguishing Characteristics:<br><br>This class is distinguished by its responsibility for performing a variety of civilian tasks in the Maui Police Department.&nbsp; This class does not require a police oath of office, formal specialized police training and the authority of arrest.

Requirements

Training and Experience: A combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from high school and one (1) &nbsp;year of clerical and public contact experience.<br><br>License Requirement: Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license (Type 3).<br><br>Knowledge of: office practices and procedures; use of standard office machines; departmental rules, regulations, practices and procedures.<br><br>Ability to: read and interpret laws, ordinances, rules, regulations, and departmental policies; follow oral and written instructions; operate standard office machines and equipment; deal tactfully and effectively with the public; work harmoniously with others.<br><br>Special Working Conditions: may be subject to shift and weekend work as required.<br><br>Health a
