Requirements
<strong>License Required:</strong> <span style="color: inherit;font-style: normal;text-indent: 0.0px;">Possession of <strong>(1)</strong> A valid California Motor Vehicle Operator’s License. Out of state motor vehicle operator's licenses will be accepted during the recruitment process;<strong>and (2)</strong> a valid California Emergency Medical Technician certificate. Candidates with an EMT certificate issued by National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) must obtain a California EMT certificate prior to the start of the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District Fire Academy.</span> <br> <br> <strong>Education:</strong> Possession of a high school diploma, G.E.D. equivalency or high school proficiency certificate.<br> <br><strong>Age:</strong> At least 18 years
