Part-Time Fire Safety & Support Assistant

About this role

Performs community education, administrative, and operational support functions for the Fire Department on a part-time basis; assists with public safety initiatives, equipment management, and departmental events; performs related work as required.

Requirements

<ul><li>Education is equivalent to completion of high school.</li><li>Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with the public and departmental staff.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, for public events.</li><li>Ability and willingness to represent the City of Flint Fire Department professionally in public settings.</li></ul><br><strong><u>NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT(S):</u></strong><ul><li>Possession and maintenance of a valid State of Michigan Driver's license.</li></ul><br><br>
