The Family Court of St. Louis County is hiring for <strong>Full-Time Male and Female</strong> Detention Deputy Juvenile Officer positions within the Detention Department. Our Detention Deputy Juvenile Officer positions are established with a<strong> Bona Fide Requirement: Occupational Qualification </strong>requiring that the <strong>candidate be of the same gender as the resident unit</strong>. Due to the direct custodial care and the nature of the interaction required in these positions, only MALE candidates are eligible to compete for this particular vacancy. Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related social/behavioral science; <strong>or </strong>four years of responsible, paraprofessional social service experience working with juvenile delinquents and/or their families may be substituted in lieu of college; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
