Animal Control Officer

About this role

<p>Under general supervision, this position promotes education and public safety by investigating and enforcing the state laws and city ordinances related to the humane care and treatment of animals. The shift for this position will be Wednesday-Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. but is subject to change based on the needs of the Unit and the City of Round Rock.&nbsp;</p><p style="margin: 0 0 8pt; text-align: center;"><strong><span style="color: inherit;">Posted pay range is the starting salary. &nbsp;Pay rate offered is based on experience.</span></strong></p>

Requirements

<ul><li><p>Graduation from high school or GED equivalent.</p></li><li><p>One (1) year of experience working with animals.</p></li></ul>
