About this role
This position performs professional work involving the application of independent judgment; responsible for program development and administration. This employee leads, reviews, and participates in the work of staff responsible for performing professional level technical and analytical support in the daily operations of the Police Department Employee assists all Department personnel in a timely manner in the collection, collation, analysis, and dissemination of the data collected including, but not limited to, crime, arrests, calls for service, and traffic data. Performs related duties as required.
Requirements
<p style="text-align: left;">Each applicant must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Criminology, Criminal Justice, Police Science, Public Administration, Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Statistical Analysis, Information Management, or a related field. Additionally, each applicant must have three years of prior paid work experience in crime analysis/research and/or intelligence analysis/research. Experience may include teaching and/or research as a paid/unpaid graduate assistant.
