About this role
The Clark County Juvenile Justice Services is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Juvenile Probation Officer position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while providing supervision, guidance, case management, and support to youth. <br data-pasted="true"><br>This recruitment is open to entry-level candidates as well as applicants who possess a Nevada P.O.S.T. Requirements
<ul><li>Provides direct field supervision of juvenile offenders including home and school visits, weapons and contraband searches and drug testing. </li><li>Enforces adherence to court ordered conditions of probation; investigates and processes probation violations and makes recommendations regarding revocation of probation; arrests, detains and transports probationers who have violated court orders. </li><li>Counsels and advises probationers and their families regarding pertinent personal, social, educational, financial, vocational and health matters. </li><li>Compiles, investigates, verifies and presents reports on personal, social, educational, financial, vocational, health and/or prior criminal history of probationers; writes and presents reports to various courts, officials and agenci
