About this role

Conditions of Employment Continued: Employee must obtain/maintain required certifications, i.e., International Fire Service Accreditation Congress Certification as a Telecommunicator, Level I and II; EMD and EMD-Q certifications, including initial and follow-on certification; CPR certification; HAZMAT Awareness; etc. Works in close harmony with supervisors, co-workers and others during day-to-day routines and during emergencies. Is required to maintain good working relationships with on and off-base agencies, maintaining a consistently courteous attitude at all times. Keeps calm and cool during emergency situations. This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety.
