Requirements
<b>Education, Training and Experience:</b> High school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by a minimum of one (1) year direct experience in animal control field operations or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. <b>Licenses and/or Certifications:</b> Requires a valid driver license. Requires a Florida Animal Control Association approved Animal Control Officer Certification as required by Florida law (F.S. 828.27). Requires a Florida approved Bite Stick certification within six (6) months of hire. Chemical Capture, Euthanasia Technician and Animal Cruelty Investigator certifications preferred.
