Requirements

To become a Correctional Officer Assistant, you must:<br><ul><li>Be a Retired Correctional Officer of the Department of Corrections.</li><li>Have a high school diploma or an appropriate equivalent.</li><li>Be at least 18 years old by the time you are hired.</li><li>Be a citizen or resident alien of the United States.</li><li>Successfully complete a comprehensive background investigation.</li><li>Successfully complete a psychological evaluation and a polygraph examination.</li><li>Successfully complete a physical and medical examination.</li></ul><strong style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;" data-pasted="true">Proof of Licenses, Certifications and Education</strong><br style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;"
