<p data-pasted="true">This Community Service Officer II position is assigned to the Boise Police Department Front Counter at City Hall West and serves as a primary point of contact for members of the public seeking police services, information, resources, or assistance. Provides in-person public service by evaluating requests for assistance, conducting interviews, preparing police reports and documentation, answering questions regarding police procedures, laws, ordinances, and community resources, and directing individuals to appropriate services.</p><p>The position also performs Community Service Officer duties in support of department operations, which may include responding to calls for service, conducting investigations, collecting and processing evidence, and assisting Patrol Officers, detectives, and the Crime Lab as needed.&nbsp;</p><p>This position works under immediate/direct supervision and is regularly scheduled Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at City Hall West.</p><br><div style="text-align: center;"><strong style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0px; text-align: start;"><em>To ensure internal equity and alignment with the approved budget
