About this role

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing a Fire & Emergency Services program 2) Providing assistance, advice, and recommendations concerning fire protection/prevention; planning, managing, coordinating, implementing and evaluating fire prevention programs; 3) Administering a fire and emergency services budget; and 4) Reviewing reports, records, codes, and procedures to make suggestions on improvements to firefighting techniques and /or policies. **NOTE: All experience must be demonstrated in your resume.** ***This position requires the incumbent to possess the following certifications: Fire Officer IV, Fire Inspector II, Fire Instructor II, Hazardous Materials Operations, HAZMAT Incident Commander, and Airport Firefighter, Emergency Vehicle Operators Course, Emergency Responder.
