Requirements
The following minimum qualifications are required to be met at the time of application, unless otherwise stated.<br><br><strong>Age & Education:</strong><ul><li>At least 18 years of age at the time of appointment <li>High School Diploma or Equivalent</ul><strong>Work Experience<u>:</u></strong><ul><li>Two years, including probationary time, of current, full-time continuous employment as a Firefighter or higher ranking fire operations personnel with a public fire agency, authority, or department that provides all risk Fire/EMS services and is comparable to the Reno Fire Department as identified by NFPA standards, NFPA 1710.</ul>*Paid call, extra help, temporary, and/or volunteer firefighting experience is not an acceptable substitute for the required two years outlined above.<br><b
