Requirements

<p>High school diploma or equivalent is required. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Position physically requires the ability to be active for up to an entire shift and requires the ability to perform safety and security procedures to ensure the safety of residents and team-members. Upon hire, team-member is a <strong><em>Probationary Corrections Officer for 90 days</em></strong> following completion of initial training and certification. Ability to work with others in a team environment, and maintain appropriate, respectful interrelationships with team-members. Ability to regularly work weekend or evening hours, holidays, and occasionally work extended or irregular hours.
