Requirements
<ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt"><li>Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.</li><li>Thorough knowledge of the management of police operations and administration, such as community policing.</li><li>Thorough knowledge of federal and state laws; City ordinances; and court decisions.</li><li>Thorough knowledge of contemporary investigative procedures, practices and techniques.</li><li>Ability to plan, assign, supervise and direct a large number of personnel.</li><li>Thorough knowledge of Department rules, regulations and policies.</li><li>Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal relations with police personnel and the public.</li><li>Ability to behave in a positive and fair manner in order to gain and maintain the confidence, support, cooperation and satisfa
