Requirements

It is not to be assumed that each example listed shall be performed by all employees, nor that any one employee shall perform only the examples listed.<br><br><ul><li>Performs various fire fighting activity initially working under the direct supervision of a Fire Fighter, and attends classroom instruction on the techniques of fire fighting, equipment operation and maintenance and fire inspection and prevention.&nbsp;</li><li>As required, responds to fire situations; lays and connects fire hoses; holds nozzles and directs fog or water streams; raises and climbs ladders; uses chemical extinguisher, power driven tools, bars, hooks, and lines.&nbsp;</li><li>Assists firefighters in providing for ventilation of burning structures, removing people from danger, and performing salvage duties.&nbsp;
