VA Certified Officers will complete this application, personal history statement, polygraph examination, psychological examination, background investigation, physical examination and medical examination prior to employment.<br> <br>• Must have experience as an officer in a law enforcement organization of similar size and functional responsibility as the Lynchburg Police Department.<br><span style="color: inherit;font-style: normal;text-align: left;text-indent: 0.0px;">•</span> Will be required to work a minimum of 8 hours each week.<br>• Authorized to work additional hours up to a maximum of 28 hours each week.<br>• There are no benefits associated with this position.<br>• Previously employed law-enforcement officer
