About this role

This position is located with the Nashville Fire Department (NFD) and provides efficient and specialized emergency medical care to the sick, injured, and/or critically ill when required, and during transportation to medical facilities. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent and a State of Tennessee Paramedic License. <span style="color: inherit;font-style: normal;text-align: left;text-indent: 0.0px;">Must meet National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Medical Standards.&nbsp;</span><span style="color: inherit;font-style: normal;text-align: left;text-indent: 0.0px;">Must be twenty one (21) years of age.</span>&nbsp;<br><br><u><strong>LICENSES REQUIRED:</strong></u><br>Valid Driver License<br>Licensed by the State of Tennessee as a Paramedic<br>Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support<br>Certification in Basic Trauma Life Support (BLTS) or Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS)<span style="color: inherit;font-style: normal;text-align: left;text-indent: 0.0px;">&nbsp;(within the first six (6) months of employment).</sp
