Requirements

<ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt;" data-pasted="true"><li>High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school.</li><li>P.O.S.T. Certified Peace Officer for Law Enforcement and in good standing.</li><li>Possess or be able to obtain the Georgia P.O.S.T. Certification for Basic Jail Officer and First Aid CPR Certification.</li><li>Possess a valid driver's license from the state where you reside with the ability to obtain a Georgia driver's license.</li><li>Your vision must be correctable to 20/20 or 20/40 in each eye.</li><li>Must complete and pass physical and psychological exams with a medical professional and pass a drug screen and background investigation.</li></ul>
