FIRE PROTECTION SPECIALIST

About this role

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: I have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal Sector or equivalent experience in the Public or Private sector performing duties such as: 1) Advising the command and senior leadership on fire protection and related emergency response activities; 2) Explaining the principles and theories of fire investigations and fire ground tactics; 3) Developing and implementing CNRSE business rules; 4) Assisting CNRSE Installation Fire Chiefs in determining long and short-range requirements for resources such as manpower, equipment, facilities, contract services, staffing support sufficient to meet the needs of the customers, assisting in implementing Operational Risk Management to reduce overtime; 5) Conducting a variety of Inspections across the Region. Must be certified by the DOD Fire Fighter Certification system as Fire Officer III (includes Fire Officer I and II), Fire Instructor III
