Under general supervision performs supervision and administration detention work of moderate difficulty in the Juvenile Detention facility; performs related work as assigned.
Requirements
<p>Bachelor's degree in related field AND three years working with juveniles in a residential setting; OR</p><p>Associate's degree in a related field and four years working with juveniles in a residential setting; OR</p><p>Five years working with juveniles in a residential setting: OR</p><p>Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p><p>Must submit to background check prior to hire. Persons convicted of a felony are not eligible for hire within the Juvenile Detention facility. Forty hours of orientation training are required within first month on the job. Sixteen additional hours of COJET certified training are required each year.</p><p>Mu
