Juvenile Detention Officer Senior (Supervisor) - Juvenile Court

Under general supervision performs supervision and administration detention work of moderate difficulty in the Juvenile Detention facility; performs related work as assigned.

Requirements

<p>Bachelor's degree in related field AND three years working with juveniles in a residential setting; OR</p><p>Associate's degree in a related field and four years working with juveniles in a residential setting; OR</p><p>Five years working with juveniles in a residential setting: OR</p><p>Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p><p>Must submit to background check prior to hire. Persons convicted of a felony are not eligible for hire within the Juvenile Detention facility. Forty hours of orientation training are required within first month on the job.
