About this role
Performs a variety of advanced technical law enforcement duties related to enforcing the laws, maintaining the peace, protecting citizens, specializing in felony investigations. May act as department Public Information Officer (PIO).
Requirements
Associates degree in police science, criminal justice, or related field plus formal supervisory training provided through in-service, professional workshops or POST certifications, and possess a Colorado P.O.S.T or provisional certification; <strong>AND</strong> four (4) years of progressively responsible law enforcement experience; <strong>OR </strong>an equivalent combination of education and experience.
