<p data-pasted="true"><strong><u>1 Position Available</u></strong></p><p><strong>Summary: </strong>The City of Billings, Parks Department seeks a Seasonal Forestry Technician. The purpose of this position is to assist with tree care and maintenance in Billings City Parks.</p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications: </strong></p><p>Must be 18 years of age, have a valid driver’s license and good driving record. Past employment experience in a related field (tree maintenance, landscaping, weed control, etc.) is preferred.</p><p><strong>Employment Period:</strong> 2026 summer season (typically April to October)</p><p><strong>Pay Rate:</strong> $19.00/hour</p><p><strong>Work Schedule:</strong> Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.</p><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>Assist the City Arborist, primarily by serving as a “groundsman,” ensuring a safe working environment for bucket truck work, chipping cut branches and raking to clean up debris from the work area. Tree maintenance work will include planting, staking, watering, mulching, stump grinding, updating tree inventories and pruning. This position will occasionally be asked to assist
