Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning, conducting or assisting with fire prevention programs; 2) Providing assistance, advice, or recommendations concerning fire protection/prevention; 3) Assisting with preparing a fire and emergency services budget; 4) Reviewing reports, records, codes, and procedures to make suggestions on improvements to firefighting techniques and /or policies. This position requires possession of the following certifications: 1) Firefighter I; 2) Firefighter II; 3) HazMat Awareness; 4) HazMat Operations; 5) HazMat Incident Commander; 6) Driver Operator Pumper; 7) Fire Officer I; 8) Fire Officer II; 9) Fire Officer III; 10) Fire Inspector I; 11) Fire Inspector II; 12) Fire Instructor I; 13) Fire Instructor II; These certifications must have been awarded by DoD, IFSAC or Proboard to meet the requirements.
